Happy Fall

    My dearest Sumner,

It's been a beautiful Autumn day here in NC, today.   It makes me think of how I'm going to love next fall, when you're here. We'll spend a day together, and go for a walk in the woods, hearing the leaves crunch under our feet. Then, we can rake them into a pile so we can jump in the leaves like little kids, and just be silly.  Then after we've been outside for hours, we'll come in and make lunch together. We can bake something too. Fall always makes me want to bake! Then we'll cuddle up and watch Lost or one of our other great shows. We'll get cozy under the blankets. And I'll laugh every time you ask me "who are we? What's real? Is it all a dream?"! Then when the sky starts getting darker, we'll get out our instruments and jam a bit. Then I'll make us some hot cider, and we can sip it and just talk to each other and make out ;). It'll be wonderful! I love you, and I love daydreaming about all the times we're gonna have together and then making those dreams come true.

A Valentime's Dream

My dearest Kaitie-Girl, I'm dreaming of a valentine's day with you in our dream house near Brevard.

We start the morning with breakfast in bed, and then we eat some pancakes and bacon for food before our outing ;D.


Then I want to take you to some of the beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes around here, so we can stroll through the woods and listen to the water flowing by. We can enjoy the quiet peacefulness of the forest and winter, and you'd cuddle close to me to get warm. I'd put my arm around you and hold you tight and be so happy for the feeling of having you close.

After that we'd go to the house and I would cook you a delicious, mouth-watering valentine's day steak. We'd listen to great swing music and enjoy our lunch, then dance in the living room for hours until the late afternoon.

Then I'd take you on a hike over to the camp lake, where we would paddle around and watch the sky reflected in the water. And as the sun sets we would sit in each others arms and retell our love story, our tale of two lovers.

Then we'd kiss and return home to get ready to go out for a romantic valentine's dinner out on the town, see a wonderful concert, and come home to enjoy an evening being together and in love.

On this gray and rainy evening, I am dreaming of an evening with you spent by a fire.  I would love to just snuggle up with you and listen to the crackling logs. We could toast marshmallows and read or  you could tell me some of your stories. It could be so warm and cozy, and very romantic. We could sing together and play mandolin and guitar. Then maybe we'd be a little too warm and we'd have to take our clothes off ;). We could slowly savor each other and enjoy the romantic lighting. Then snuggle up together all night as the flames start to die, we'd drift off to sleep.
